Impact of climate change on wind energy generation
While clean energy development goals in themselves are climate change / GHG mitigation steps, the clean energy production itself is facing challenges on the account of climate change. And such challenges are only expected to increase in times ahead.
An article published by Business Standard on climate change and its impact on renewables where the data compiled by REConnect Energy’s AI and weather science team shows that due to the impact of climate change, India’s wind energy generation fell by 16 per cent in its peak season this year.
